Gentle Touch Dog Training, LLC - The TRAINER/What's Happening?
Gentle Touch Dog Training, LLC - TTouch Practitioner and Behavior Consultant
CYNTHIA GORDON, CPDT-KA

I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, a Victoria Stilwell Positively Trainer, a Tellington Touch (TTouch) Practitioner, an AKC approved Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and an Apprentice Examiner for the American Temperament Testing Society.

I specialize in working with dogs that have behavior issues, such as excessive barking, nervousness, nipping or dog-dog aggression (reactivity).  I use a variety of techniques, most notably TTouch and Positive Training to work with these animals to help them develop the confidence and well-being they need to become loving, safe family pets. Most often, these behaviors have developed from fear-based issues, and with patience and positive training, the once reactive, nervous dog can learn to trust and make you proud to walk them down the street again.

I am located in Seminole, FL and travel to your home throughout the Pinellas County area.

I also work with a network of Family Dog Training Partners who are available to help with all other aspects of Family Dog Training and Basic Obedience.  We volunteer regularly at shelters, and are always willing to set up private consultations at the shelter at a reduced charge if it helps keep your family together!

Gulfport's Get Rescued In Gulfport
(Daytime Street Event)
Reminder… to register NOW for Gulfport’s Get Rescued on February 25, 2012…
Gulfport’s Get Rescued, the animal rescue festival and fundraiser, is preparing for its eighth annual event to take place on Saturday, February 25th, 2012 from 10AM to 6PM
This popular street festival, which Gulfport Merchant's Association (GMA) hosts, has evolved from one block and a handful of animal rescue groups in its first year to a popular and festive event representing as many as 60 animal rescue groups from throughout the region.
Gulfport's Get Rescued is one of the largest such events in the state, with all profits to benefit participating non-profit rescue groups.
Animal rescue organizations, many appearing with adoptable pets, take over Beach Blvd. to raise money and awareness for their causes. Additionally, animal-related vendors, artists and crafters offer their wares to festival-goers.
Pet Related activities will include a pet parade (Bring your rescues and showcase them in the parade!), pet care education, pet services, a pet food  and supplies drive, adoptable pets, free samples, training demos, food, music & games.
Each year, thousands of attendees, many accompanied by their own canine companions, make their way to Gulfport to support what has become a beloved tradition.
